Publicity Website by Amy Ward

We have decided to bring the marketing and advertising aspects into the 21st century as the Internet is the biggest advertising forte in the modern technological world. As an AS I.T student, i decided to design and create a front page working website as promotion and publicity for the film. False Pretenses.com offers a synopsis, video clip, character profiles and a fan forum where fans of the film can post their comments and bring their own personal views and criticisms.

Make-Up - Rebecca Young

The make up we used in the thriller helped show the audience what had happened to the protagonist of the film. We only used make up in one shot which was the one where she had been attacked, which showed her injuries. To achieve this look I used black, purple and yellow stage make-up to represent the bruise and special wax and fake blood to show the cut. People have commented that this looked very effective.

Storyboard for our Thriller - Rebecca Young

To show us what needed to be done in our thriller we created storyboards. However, we only fully planned out Scene 1 as we weren't sure what the storyline was going to be for Scene 2 and kept on changing our minds. Looking back I think that we should have created a proper storyboard for Scene 2, as we would not have had a lot of the problems that came across during filming.

Final Thriller

This is our final thriller product.

Preliminary Task

Before filming our thriller we had to film a preliminary task to practice using the cameras and all the camera shots.
